The Photobook

When creating my photobook I decided to use square format. I think photobooks are great in square format, it feels more purposely put together, especially when the images are also the same 1:1 ratio.

Included in my photobook I composed a sonnet on separation addressed to my partner. It is an accumulation of how I feel our journey over the last few years has been, and how this has been heightened in the current pandemic situation.

Choosing my font proved to be difficult for me. I wanted to create a handwritten feel, as though hand writing a love letter to my partner. I liked a font, however when on the page it was quite unclear to see the words clearly, as shown here:
