The Dots as a career tool

What is "The Dots"?

The Dots was recommended to me by a friend who had described it as a linkedin but for creative people.

Sounds like a great idea, and it is!

I created my profile, very similar to linkedin in that aspect however there are so many more interesting ideas bubbling under the surface.

For example:

There is a "My Community" Feed where people can post freely either asking for photographers/ artists etc that are available for work near them. This also works the other way around if you as the poster are looking for a job you can post on My Community and get your name and availability out there.

There is also a Explore section, this is where you can see new projects from either companies or other artists "The Dots" accounts you follow. As seen above you can filter to find what you would be most interested in, for example I would, under the Creators Profession, search Photographer.

Under the job section you can see the most recent postings from companies like Alexander Mcqueen, Charlotte Tilbury and Apple to name a few.
