Small world narrative - Someone passing on with an angel watching over them.
Working as part of a group to create this narrative with the objects that we had was challenging, however every person in the group liked the idea of creating a church like setting.
Church window was made with a plain sheet of glass with small cut outs of 3D glass coloured lenses stuck on with pva glue. This was then held up to the back of a cardboard box where we had cut out window holes. We then shown a light through the back of the glass to send light into the box where the colourful glow lit up the angel and coffin in a transfixing way.
I myself was in charge of creating the wings for the angel and also taking the final images and editing them on my laptop with the guidance of my group.
The image above is the original image without any editing. I wanted to add warmer tones and tidy up some of the rougher edges, such as editing out the stand from behind the angel and trimmed the window frame.
It was a really fun task that was set and as a group we really enjoyed the challenge of getting it completed in the small time frame.
